President Trump said he has not made any determination regarding the future of US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, days after her office dropped charges in a closely watched vandalism case involving a former Olympic canoeist.
The dismissal, which prosecutors blamed on contractors who mishandled the case, drew criticism from the president, who has publicly questioned how the matter was handled.
Pirro has not commented publicly on whether she expects to remain in her post, and the Justice Department has declined to say whether any internal review is underway.
